Trivia Sites for SEO campaign
A group of Trivia websites divided into different categories for mobile phone subscribers. Customers sign up for the trivia by navigating to any one of the websites and key-in their mobile number, after which they can start receiving questions. The system required SOAP using PHP to communicate with the SMS gateways in the US. To simulate the system a Java-based “virtual cellphone” program was used to test the application. SVN was used to keep track of code changes throughout the project and kept in a repository.

FindAcuraDealers.com
This website is aimed towards car US-based car owners who want to locate dealerships within a given area. Car dealers can also use the site to advertise their car dealership. The system has a PHP/MySQL backend integrated with a Authorize.net account for payment. Also part of my primary tasks was optimizing the site and making necessary feature enhancements and corrections to the system.
DressUpDream.com
A website for teenage girls who love to play with real-life “dress-up dolls”, Dress-up Dream is also a social networking site. The virtual dolls are actually Flash widgets that lets users play dress-up. The system required heavy AJAX front-end functionality paired with a PHP/MySQL back-end. A user login module was also added to allow users to save their profiles.
AmericanGiftMart.com
An online store for beach toys and equipment for kids. Ecommerce website with a PHP/MYSQL backend and an AJAX-based shopping cart on the front end. Customers browse through the products and click on the ‘Add to Cart’ button to include the product for purchase. A summary of the contents of the cart can be displayed if the customer wants to check his items. On checking out the customer is taken to a Paypal page where the purchase is finalized. An admin panel is also implemented for content editing, updating products and Paypal settings.
